Pecan Whiskey Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 eggs, separated
    1 c. sugar
    3/4 lb. butter
    1 c. light brown sugar
    1 c. white sugar
    1 c. flour
    2 lb. pecan nutmeats
    1 lb. light raisins
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 c. bourbon whiskey
Preparation
    Line three loaf pans with aluminum foil.
    Set the oven at 250\u00b0.
    Separate 6 eggs.
    Beat the whites until they stand in soft peaks.
    Beat in sugar.
    Without washing the beater, beat yolks until thick; set aside.
