Hollandaise Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter or margarine
1/4 c. hot water
3 egg yolks
2 tsp. lemon juice
Preparation

Melt butter or margarine with water in top of double boiler over hot water.
Beat egg yolks slightly.
Blend small amount of butter mixture into beaten yolks, then add to remaining butter. Beat mixture with rotary beater until thickened and smooth, about 10 to 15 minutes.
Blend in lemon juice.
Serve immediately. Yield: 1 cup.
