Cherry Fancy - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3/4 c. brown sugar
3 Tbsp. butter
1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
1/4 tsp. soda
1 egg
1 c. chopped walnuts
1/3 c. sugar
1/4 c. maraschino cherries
2 Tbsp. grated orange peel

Preparation

Cream the brown sugar with the butter in mixer bowl until light and fluffy.
Add flour, pumpkin pie spice, soda and egg; blend well.
Stir in walnuts.
Spread in greased 9-inch square pan.
