Squash Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium squash, scrubbed and cut into chunks
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. coarsely grated cheese
    1 small onion, cut into fine pieces
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Boil squash in water slightly salted until tender.
    Drain water; add butter and seasonings and mashed squash with other ingredients.
    Pour into greased baking dish and bake at 350\u00b0 about 30 minutes or until slightly brown.
