Raspberry Tarts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sifted flour
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. (1 stick) butter or margarine
    1 egg, beaten
    1 Tbsp. milk
    1 Tbsp. raspberry jam (per tart)
Preparation
    Sift flour, sugar and salt into a bowl.
    Cut butter in with dry ingredients.
    Mix and mash until well mixed and crumbly.
    Add beaten egg and milk together.
    Mix with other ingredients thoroughly.
    Grease a cookie sheet.
    Make small balls about 2-inches big.
    Put them on the cookie sheet and flatten to 1/8-inch thick (should be about 4 to 5 inches in diameter).
    Drop 1 tablespoon jam on half the circle.
    Fold over other half to make a pocket.
    Crimp edges with a fork.
    Cook at 350\u00b0 in a preheated oven for 15 to 17 minutes.
    Makes about 10 tarts.
