Italian Hamburg - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground meat
2 Tbsp. water
1/3 c. onion, chopped
2 c. canned tomatoes
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. parsley, finely chopped (if desired)
1 c. spaghetti (uncooked)
1/2 c. cheese, grated (may be omitted)
Preparation

Put hot water in heavy skillet which has close fitting lid and bring to a boil.
Add ground meat.
Cook until meat turns gray, stirring often.
Sprinkle over meat the chopped onion, uncooked spaghetti, salt and parsley.
Pour tomatoes over all.
Do not mix! Place close fitting lid on skillet and turn flame very low.
Let it cook slowly, without lifting lid, for 30 minutes.
Remove lid; stir well.
Sprinkle cheese over top and serve at once.
