Banana Split Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. vanilla wafer crumbs
1 1/2 sticks butter, softened
1 1/2 sticks oleo (not soft or light type)
3 Tbsp. sugar
2 eggs, beaten
2 c. powdered sugar
sliced bananas
crushed pineapple, drained
1 large carton Cool Whip
chopped pecans
chopped cherries
Preparation

Mix together wafer crumbs, 1/2 stick butter, 1/2 stick oleo and white sugar.
Press into 9 x 13-inch dish.
Set aside.
Beat with mixer, eggs, 1 stick butter, 1 stick of oleo and powdered sugar.
Beat 15 minutes.
Spread over crumbs.
Add a layer of sliced bananas, a layer of pineapple and Cool Whip.
Garnish top with pecans and cherries.
Let set overnight in refrigerator before serving.
