Verna Maes' Texas Brag - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 stick butter
    1 can cherry pie filling
    1 large can crushed pineapple and juice
    1 yellow dry cake mix
    1 bag coconut
    pecans
    1 1/2 sticks melted butter
Preparation
    Melt 1/2 stick melted butter in long baking dish.
    Add cherry pie filling, pineapple and juice.
    Layer this with cake mix.
    On top, add coconut, pecans and 1 1/2 sticks melted butter.
    Bake until brown at 350\u00b0 about 1 1/2 hours.
