Ruth Mihachik'S Peanut Butter Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. sugar
    1 c. milk
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. peanut butter (I use Skippy creamy)
    1 (16 oz.) jar Marshmallow Fluff
    nuts (as desired)
Preparation
    Mix sugar and milk.
    Let stand for 1/2 hour.
    This is very important!
    Cook just until soft ball is formed when tested in water.
    Remove from heat.
    Add vanilla, peanut butter and Marshmallow Fluff.
    Add nuts if desired.
    Beat until all ingredients are well mixed and candy is slightly thick.
    Pour into 9 x 13 x 2-inch buttered pan.
    (Hardens slowly.)
