Ingredients

1/2 lb. spiral macaroni
2 onions, chopped
1/2 lb. bacon
1/2 lb. chopped mushrooms
1 can sauerkraut
1 or 2 cans mushroom soup
salt and pepper
Preparation

Cut bacon into pieces and fry until crisp.
Remove bacon and fry onions until clear, not brown.
Saute mushrooms in a little butter.
Rinse and drain sauerkraut.
Combine bacon, onion, mushrooms and sauerkraut with undiluted mushroom soup.
Cook macaroni; do not overcook.
Drain well.
Combine all ingredients in large casserole.
Mix well.
Add salt and pepper.
Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 45 minutes.
Makes 8 to 10 servings.
