Baked Tomatoes(Tomatoes Provencales) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 to 10 medium-sized tomatoes
    2 Tbsp. olive oil or salad oil
    2 Tbsp. finely chopped garlic (about 7 large cloves)
    2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
    2 Tbsp. fine, dry breadcrumbs
    1/4 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
Preparation
    Core tomatoes and cut in half horizontally.
    Gently squeeze tomato halves to remove juice and seeds.
    Sprinkle the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch baking dish lightly with salt.
    Place tomatoes, cut-side up, in the dish.
    Drizzle with olive oil or salad oil. Bake, uncovered, in a 400\u00b0 oven for 10 minutes.
    Meanwhile, combine garlic, parsley, breadcrumbs, 1/4 teaspoon salt and pepper.
    Sprinkle mixture over tomatoes and continue baking, uncovered, for 15 minutes longer, or until tomatoes are soft throughout.
