Cream Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/3 c. flour
    1/8 tsp. salt
    2 c. milk, scalded
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    2 Tbsp. butter
    3 eggs, separated (use yolks; save whites for the meringue)
    1 baked pie shell
Preparation
    Combine flour, sugar and salt; mix well. Scald milk with butter (about 2 to 3 minutes in the microwave). Add to flour and sugar, a small amount at a time until mixture is smooth.
