Irish Scones - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
pinch of salt
1/4 tsp. baking soda
4 Tbsp. margarine
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 c. sour milk
1 egg
Preparation

Sieve flour, salt and soda together in large bowl.
Cut in margarine and rub in until like crumbs.
Add sugar and enough milk to make a soft ball together with egg.
Turn onto floured board and lightly knead a few times.
Roll out and cut into round cakes or cut with round cookie cutter.
Bake in hot oven (400\u00b0) for 15 minutes until risen and nicely brown.
