Ingredients

1 pkg. Duncan Hines yellow cake mix
1 c. milk
1/2 c. sugar
1 (9 oz.) carton Cool Whip
coconut
Preparation

Cook cake as directed.
While still hot, punch as many holes in it as you can with a fork.
Mix cup of milk and 1/2 cup of sugar; heat to boiling point.
Spoon over cake.
Let cool, then spread with Cool Whip.
Sprinkle with coconut.
Refrigerate overnight.
Serve at room temperature.
