Escalloped Potatoes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 or 10 medium sized potatoes
1 medium onion, sliced thin
5 tsp. butter
2 Tbsp. flour
2 to 3 c. rich milk
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 tsp. pepper
1 Tbsp. parsley leaves
wieners, ham or bacon may be added if desired
Preparation

Steam thinly sliced potatoes 10 minutes.
Bring milk to a boil
and thicken slightly.
Mix ingredients altogether and pour in a greased casserole.
Bake covered 1 to 1 1/2 hours at 400\u00b0. During
last

10 minutes of baking, place cheese slices on top and bake only until cheese is melted.
