Peach Kuchen(German Peach Cake) - cooking recipe

1 1/2 c. flour
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. butter
1 egg yolk
2 to 3 Tbsp. milk
1/2 tsp. lemon extract (optional)
4 c. sliced fresh peaches (about 6 peaches)
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 Tbsp. lemon juice

Preparation

Mix first 8 ingredients; pat into an 8-inch pie pan.
Peel and slice peaches.
Mix peaches with cornstarch and lemon juice.
Pour peach filling onto crust.
Dot with butter.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 45 minutes or until fruit is tender.
Double amounts for roasting pan.
