Liz'S Shrimp Scampi - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. fresh shrimp, shelled and deveined (I use large or jumbo)
    2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
    1 stick lightly salted butter
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1/4 c. seasoned bread crumbs
    1/4 c. milk or heavy cream
    4 oz. can chopped mushrooms
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Melt butter in large skillet.
    Add shrimp, turning every few minutes to cook.
    Add rest of ingredients, except bread crumbs. Cover with lid and simmer a few more minutes.
    Add bread crumbs to make a sauce.
    Add according to the desired thickness of sauce. Stir everything to mix well.
    Serve with rice and vegetables.
