Green Chili Pesto(Sauce Over Pasta) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 canned green chilies, peeled, seeded and chopped
    1 c. packed spinach, chopped
    1 Tbsp. pine nuts or sunflower seeds
    1/4 c. chopped Italian parsley
    1/4 c. olive oil
    1 to 2 garlic cloves, peeled
    1 tsp. chopped basil
    salt to taste
    2 to 3 Roma tomatoes, diced (for garnish)
Preparation
    In blender, puree all ingredients, except tomatoes, to make smooth sauce.
    If necessary, thin slightly with water.
