Crisp Watermelon Rind Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large watermelon rind
    1 qt. vinegar
    1/2 oz. powdered lime to every gal. water
    1 oz. whole cloves
    5 lb. sugar
    1 oz. cinnamon
Preparation
    Prepare rind by removing all red and green.
    Cut in desired shape.
    Soak overnight in water and lime.
    (You will need a large container for this.)
