Lemon Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. margarine
    6 eggs
    1 box brown sugar
    4 c. plain flour
    2 oz. lemon extract
    1/2 lb. candied cherries
    1/2 lb. candied pineapple
    1 qt. pecans
Preparation
    Cream the margarine and sugar.
    Add egg yolks.
    Blend in 2 cups of flour.
    Coat fruit and nuts with remaining 2 cups of flour.
    Fold in fruit.
    Beat egg whites until stiff.
    Fold in all other ingredients.
    Let stand overnight in refrigerator.
    Bake in oven at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours in loaf pan.
