Coconut Cream Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. sugar
1/3 c. all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. milk
3 slightly beaten egg yolks
2 Tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (9-inch) baked pastry shell
1 c. coconut
Preparation

In large mixing bowl, combine sugar, flour and salt. Gradually stir in milk.
Cook in microwave until mixture begins to thicken.
Add egg yolks and cook until thick.
Remove from microwave and add butter, vanilla and coconut.
After cools, pour mixture into baked pie shell and spread meringue on top.
Bake in oven until meringue is brown.
