Mahogany Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
    1 c. butter, scant measure
    1 c. cold black coffee
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 eggs
    1/2 c. cocoa
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Cream butter, add sugar and cream again, beat eggs in this mixture, add coffee.
    Sift the dry ingredients, flour, cocoa, soda and salt and add a little at a time, lastly the vinegar and vanilla.
    Bake in a moderate oven at 350\u00b0.
