Golden Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. yellow cornmeal
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 egg
    1 c. sifted flour
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. milk
    1/4 c. oil
Preparation
    Sift together cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Add egg, milk and oil.
    Beat until smooth.
    Bake in an 8-inch square pan at 425\u00b0 for about 25 minutes.
