Spaghetti Sauce (Marinara) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
    1 can tomato paste
    1/2 to 1 c. water
    1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. garlic powder
    1 bay leaf
    1 tsp. oregano
    1/2 tsp. basil
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients and bring to a boil in a saucepan. Cover and reduce heat.
    Simmer for at least 20 minutes.
    For variety, add your favorite meat, poultry or vegetables to this basic red sauce.
