Canned Apple Pie Filling - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 lb. sugar
    1 c. cornstarch
    1 c. Minute tapioca
    2 Tbsp. apple pie spice
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    7 qt. peeled and thinly sliced apples
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients and mix with apples.
    Let stand for sugar to dissolve, approximately 2 hours.
    Pack into sterilized quart jars.
    Seal and process in hot water bath for 50 minutes. Yields 7 quarts.
