Grandma'S White Fruitcake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. pineapple juice (off canned pineapple)
1 oz. almond flavoring
1 c. English walnuts
1 c. white raisins
1 1/2 c. red, green, yellow candied pineapple, cut up fine
1 1/2 c. candied cherries
5 egg whites, beaten stiff
Preparation

Cream sugar and butter together.
Sift together flour, baking powder and salt, then add to the butter mixture alternately with flour and pineapple juice.
Mix well.
Flour all fruit and add to mixture.
Add almond flavoring.
Fold in beaten egg whites.
Pour into tube pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 to 2 hours until done.
