Lemon Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
2 c. hot water or 1 c. hot water and 1 c. sweet milk
1 grated lemon rind
1/2 c. flour or cornstarch
juice of 1 lemon
3 egg yolks
1/2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation

Stir all ingredients together and cook in double boiler.
When thickness results, remove from heat and cool.
Pour into baked pie shell; cover with meringue.
