Cream Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. sugar
    1 pt. whipping cream
    1 c. boiling water
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients; stir until dissolved. Place on heat and stir. Do not stir after mix starts to boil. Cook to 258\u00b0. Pour onto a buttered marble slab; roll and cut with scissors into pieces.
