Refrigerator Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    cucumbers (any size)
    4 Tbsp. alum
    4 Tbsp. salt
    4 Tbsp. pickling spice
Preparation
    Fill gallon jar with clean cucumbers (any size).
    Add alum, salt and pickling spice.
    Cover cucumbers with vinegar.
    Set for 3 months or longer.
    Cover.
    When you are ready to use, drain liquid.
    Cut cucumbers into slices.
    Add 2 cups sugar per quart of cucumbers.
    Pack in jars.
    Refrigerate.
