Chocolate Pound Cake - cooking recipe

3 c. flour
3 c. sugar
1 1/8 c. milk
5 eggs
1/4 c. cocoa
1 1/2 c. Crisco
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation

Beat Crisco in an electric mixer until light and fluffy. Cream sugar with Crisco. Add eggs, 1 at a time. Combine flour, baking powder, salt and cocoa. Incorporate flour mixture with sugar and egg mixture, alternating flour mixture and milk. Add vanilla. Bake in greased and floured tube pan at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 25 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
