Mexican Pecan Candy - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. sweet milk
1/2 tsp. soda
2 c. white sugar
1 Tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. pecan halves or coarsely broken pieces
Preparation

Mix the first 3 ingredients together in a large vessel as mixture foams while cooking.
Cook to soft ball stage on medium heat.
Remove from fire.
Add butter, vanilla and pecans.
Beat until creamy or until mixture changes color.
Drop quickly on previously salted wax paper.
