Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. self-rising flour
2 heaping Tbsp. Crisco
1 pkg. dry yeast
1/4 c. warm water
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 c. buttermilk
Preparation

Dissolve yeast in warm water.
Mix flour, sugar and Crisco with pastry blender or tablespoon and fork until in fine pieces. Add buttermilk to yeast; stir well and add to flour mixture.
Mix well.
(Add more milk if needed until dough is easy to handle.) Put dough in greased bowl and let rise 2 hours.
Then knead dough on floured surface.
Roll dough on wax paper and cut out biscuits. Let rise 2 hours.
Bake in a 400\u00b0 oven until brown (8 to 10 minutes).
