Whipped Cream Topping - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 Tbsp. flour
    1 c. milk
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    1 to 2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine first 2 ingredients in a small saucepan.
    Cook over low heat until thick, stirring constantly. Set aside to cool. Cream together the rest of the ingredients. Blend to cooled flour mixture.
    Continue beating until light and fluffy.
