Minestrone - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small garlic, minced
    1 medium onion, chopped
    3 to 4 beef bouillon cubes
    2 medium potatoes, cubed
    16 oz. can crushed tomatoes
    2 stalks celery, sliced
    2 medium carrots, sliced
    1 (15 1/2 oz.) can undrained kidney beans
    1 Tbsp. oil
    4 c. water
    2 c. (1/2 lb.)green beans
    1/2 c. elbow macaroni
    1/4 tsp. oregano
    1/4 to 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Saute onion in oil in large saucepan.
    Add all ingredients except macaroni and green beans.
    Cook, covered, over medium-low heat for 45 minutes.
    Add beans and macaroni.
    Cook until macaroni is tender, about 15 minutes.
    Serve with Parmesan cheese.
    Makes 2 1/2 quarts.
