Butterscotch Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 c. boiling water
    4 Tbsp. flour
    pinch of salt
    4 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    2 Tbsp. cream (can use milk)
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    In saucepan, combine brown sugar, flour and salt.
    Add boiling water and cook until thick.
    Add butter, cream and vanilla, stirring until melts.
    Serve over Woodford pudding, bread pudding, etc.
