Pie Meringue - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 egg whites, at room temperature
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    6 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Beat egg whites and cream of tartar until soft peaks form when beaters are raised.
    Gradually beat in sugar, 2 tablespoons at a time, beating well after each addition.
    Continue to beat until stiff peaks form when beaters are raised.
    Spread over warm filling.
    Bake 2 to 10 minutes or until golden.
