Peanut Butter Crisscrosses - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs, beaten
3 c. flour
2 tsp. soda
1/8 tsp. salt
2 c. peanut butter
Preparation

Cream shortening, vanilla and sugars.
Add eggs and beat thoroughly.
Stir in peanut butter and then sifted dry ingredients.
Form into tiny balls.
Place on greased cookie sheet.
Press with back of fork dipped in water.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
Yields 4 to 5 dozen.
