Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. butter
1/2 c. Crisco
3 c. sugar
3 1/2 c. cake flour
1 tsp. baking powder
pinch of salt
1 c. milk
5 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla flavoring
Preparation

Cream together the butter and Crisco. Sift together the sugar, flour, baking powder and salt.
Add flour mixture to butter mixture along with 1 cup of milk.
Beat in eggs one at a time. Add vanilla flavoring.
Bake in tube pan for 1 1/2 hours at 300\u00b0.
