Richmond Maids Of Honor(English Tarts) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 cans biscuits
1/2 c. raspberry, strawberry or blackberry jam
1/2 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. softened margarine
1 egg
1/4 tsp. almond extract
2/3 c. ground almonds
Preparation

Heat the oven to 375\u00b0.
Grease a muffin pan.
Fit a biscuit into the bottom of each muffin cup.
Place a spoonful of jam over each biscuit.
Beat together the sugar, margarine, egg and almond extract.
Stir in almonds.
Spoon some of this mixture into each muffin cup.
Bake about 25 minutes.
Remove the biscuits from the pan.
Cool.
