Canned Apples For Pies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. cornstarch
1 Tbsp. salt
2 Tbsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
10 c. water
enough apples for 7 (1 qt.) jars
Preparation

Shell amount of limas preparing to freeze and wash in cold water.
Place in large container and cover with water.
Bring to boil and boil approximately 2 to 3 minutes.
Remove from heat and drain.
