Red Cabbage(Czerwona Kapusta; Polish) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head red cabbage
    2 tart red apples
    2 Tbsp. salt (optional)
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 c. cider vinegar
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Remove outer leaves.
    Quarter cabbage and shred.
    Core apples and slice thin. Combine cabbage, apples, salt, butter, vinegar and 1/2 cup water in large skillet.
    Cover.
    Cook over medium heat for 25 to 30 minutes.
    Stir occasionally.
    Yields 6 servings.
