Old Fashion Johnny Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. butter
1 c. flour
1 egg
3/4 c. corn meal
1 c. sour milk or buttermilk
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda

Preparation

Stir all ingredients together and pour into round glass pie plate.
Bake in 350\u00b0 preheated oven; bake until toothpick comes out clean.
