Candied Yams - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (28 oz.) can yams
2/3 c. white or brown sugar (I prefer brown sugar)
2/3 c. syrup (from can)
1/3 c. margarine
Preparation

Place drained yams in baking dish.
Combine syrup from yams, sugar and margarine in saucepan, stirring constantly until it begins to boil and thicken.
Pour sauce over yams.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 30 minutes.
