Carrot Wheat Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. whole-wheat flour
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/8 tsp. allspice or ground cloves
    1 c. carrots, coarsely grated
    1 tsp. orange rind, grated
    1 egg
    1 c. milk
    1/4 c. molasses
    1/4 c. butter, melted
    1/2 c. raisins
    1/4 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Measure dry ingredients into a large bowl.
    Stir in carrots and orange rind.
    In a small bowl, beat egg with milk, molasses and melted butter.
    Add to dry ingredients all at once, stirring just to moisten.
    Fold in raisins and nuts.
    Fill greased muffin tins 3/4 full.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
    Makes 12.
