Tomato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 gal. tomatoes
    1 stalk celery
    1 doz. onions
    6 cloves
    1 bay leaf or some parsley
    1/4 c. salt
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Simmer for 1 hour
    the
    first 5 ingredients and strain. To juice, add remaining ingredients.
    Mix and bring to a boil; cold pack 20 minutes.
    Makes 6 quarts.
