2 c. flour (self-rising)
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
6 Tbsp. shortening
2/3 c. milk
Preparation

Preheat oven to 450\u00b0.
Measure dry ingredients into a bowl and stir thoroughly.
Cut shortening into flour mixture with a pastry blender until mixture looks like \"meal\".
Make a well in the dry ingredients and add milk.
Stir with a fork until mixture rounds up in a ball and no dry ingredients remain.
Avoid overhandling.
