Slim Jim Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. lean ground beef
    1 medium chopped onion
    3 to 4 stalks sliced celery
    1/2 can chopped green or red pepper
    1/2 tsp. garlic salt
    1 (15 oz.) can undrained kidney beans
    2 (16 oz.) cans undrained tomato pieces
    1 1/2 to 2 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. chili powder
    1 bay leaf
Preparation
    Brown meat and onion in a 5-quart pan; drain all excess fat. Add remaining ingredients.
    Simmer, covered, 1 to 2 hours.
    Stir. Remove bay leaf.
    Serve hot.
    Makes 8 (1 cup) servings; 156 calories per serving.
