Ingredients

1 c. sugar
4 Tbsp. cornstarch
pinch of salt
2 c. milk
3 egg yolks
1/2 stick butter
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. coconut
Preparation

Mix cornstarch, sugar and salt together.
Beat egg yolks and add with milk.
Cook until thick on medium heat.
Remove from heat; add butter, vanilla and coconut.
Pour in a baked pie shell. Add meringue and sprinkle coconut on top.
Bake at 400\u00b0 until brown.
