Frankfurter Pie With Mashed Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. wieners
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1/2 c. each: chopped onion and green pepper
    1 (16 oz.) can sauerkraut
    1 apple, peeled and chopped
    1/2 c. tomato sauce
    1/4 tsp. thyme, salt and pepper
    1 lb. potatoes, cooked and mashed
    2 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Cut wieners diagonally into 1-inch pieces.
    Saute in oil in a large skillet for 5 minutes.
    Remove with slotted spoon; drain and reserve.
