Mary Lee'S Sugared Pecans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. nuts
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. water
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Heat nuts in oven to slightly brown; stir often.
    Cool.
    Cook sugar, water, cinnamon and salt to a soft ball stage.
    Do not stir. Add vanilla and nuts; stir until mixture gets creamy and pour on buttered pan.
    Let harden and they pop apart.
